5. Nyasa - The ayurvedic home remedy

Nyasa is a remedy prescribed by Ayurveda for treating cold. You are supposed to add a few drops of warm ghee (not hot) in your nostrils after you wake up in the morning. It is said that only the pure organic grass-fed desi cow ghee should be used for any such ayurvedic treatment. Panchagavya nasal drops are also highly recommended for this home remedy. 6. Flaxseed Sherbat

This is a very easy recipe. Boil the flaxseeds in the water until it thickens. Drain the water and add lemon juice and a spoon of honey to it. This drink also helps in treating the cough and the cold.
